Getting Here:

General thoughts:

We recommend that your either drive your own car or fly and take one of the public transportation options below.  You will probably not have much need for a car during your week here.  We will have a van to get around in, and a car as well for field trips and errands.  If you want to spend more time in the area before or after the camp, you could rent a car in Boulder for just that time.

By Air:

Denver International Airport is the closest airline destination.  It is located approximately 2 hours from the camp.  Plan to take the bus to Boulder, and let us know your arrival time.  We will pick you up in Boulder and bring you the rest of the way here.  RTD, the regional bus line, operates a bus called the AB which will bring you to the Boulder bus terminal at 14th and Walnut for a cost of $5.25 one way.

They run every hour or so, and there schedule can be found at www.RTD-Denver.com, by selecting route "AB" and the appropriate kind of day (weekday, Saturday, or Sunday/Holiday). Note that going from the airport to Boulder is considered "Westbound," and from Boulder to the airport "Eastbound."

Driving:

If you have a car, or rent one at the airport, start by getting to Boulder.  Then, download and consult the driving directions map for directions to the camp.
